Good ladies of the GFWC Highland Rim District, I bid you welcome. I will be sending you this web address soon and this is to become the place you look first for DISTRICT news. I have provided links to both the GFWC and the GFWC of Tennessee and recommend that you check into those sites frequently, especially around reporting time.
COMING EVENTS:
Fall Board: Franklin, TN; August 15 -17- Board members should have received a mailing by now.
Highland Rim District Meeting: Sparta, TN; September 27. GFWC Renaissance is hosting. The call will go out August 27. Watch for it. Our newly elected state president and director of junior clubs will be attending.
BIG NEWS: TENNESSEE IS HOSTING SER MEETING, OCTOBER 31-NOVEMBER 2.
We will be discussing and making plans for this event at the District meeting. The Southeast Region Meeting will be hosting GFWC members from seven states and we want the meeting to showcase Tennessee. LOTS of helping hands will be needed, so PLEASE attend the District meeting, and PLEASE be willing to sign on as a volunteer for the SER meeting, which will be in Knoxville.
