All good things come to an end... and to a new beginning.

The Spring Meeting of the GFWC of TN Highland Rim District, held at the GFWC Tullahoma Woman's Club clubhouse on March 27, 2010,  was a great success.  The weather cooperated, the clubhouse looked fantastic, and good women from throughout middle Tennessee turned out to elect officers for the 2010-2012 administration.

The meeting was co-hosted by GFWC Tullahoma Woman's Club, GFWC Centennial Woman's Club and GFWC Tullahoma Jr. Woman's Club.  The luncheon was catered by Janet and Brian Patterson of Daddy Billy's Delicatessan in Tullahoma.

Many thanks to the outgoing officers and chairmen who served the district so well since 2008.  Especial thanks must go to Sandie Simms, who did an outstanding job as Arts Chairman, and Ida Brtalik, who handled the treasury masterfully.  Retiring officers are:

The Spring Meeting is always a lot of fun because of the Arts and Crafts Contests that are held at the District Level.  There were 18 different categories within the contests.  Sincere thanks to Ann Smotherman, Pam Weidemer, and Flo Hershey, who served as the judges this year.

Even a very busy agenda leaves time for fellowship.
